Phase one for accessibility design and HSR is completed. We spent $35,427.22 on that. Funding sources for that were $17,000 saved up from prior elevator fundraising in late 1990s early 2000s. $10,000 from MNHS small grant. $8,437.22 from current fundraising drive.
Currently, we are in Phase Two which is Construction Documents (blueprints and scope of work) that has estimated expenses of $264,000. Breakdown: Elevator documents $148,000 and Restoration documents $116,000. We raised $144.225 and need $155,000 more to cover everything in Phase 2 planning.
Phase 3 is actual Construction Building and Restoration. Cost $2,512,518. Broken down into 10 different projects such as porch and exterior work, mechanical upgrades (electrical, water), elevator addition, interior work, accessibility, boiler room, basement work.
Total for building new elevator and all renovations is close to 2.8 million ($2,776,518 is the exact estimate)
